" высокая эргономичность;
" удобный функционал.
Именно такие признаки высоко ценят клиенты при выборе предметов интерьера, их сейчас выпускают и современные дизайнеры, и другие более доступные компании для молодых семей.
Мебельные изделия данного стиля принято разделять на три большие группы:
" мебель для взрослых;
" для подростков;
" для детей.
Основная разница между SMART мебелью и обычной заключается в том, что первая позволяет максимально освобидить пространство в помещении. Почему это стало возможным? Ответ несложен - smart - мебель до миллиметра использует площадь под нее, в том числе и высоту помещения.
Наиболее популярными образцами подобной мебели являются:
" столы - трансформеры;
" раскладные шкафы - кровати;
" многофункциональные столы;
" столы - кровати;

Emotional regulation in eating disorders.
buying modafinil in australia
п»їMaybe you've never stopped to think about it, but we don't all have the same ability to recognize, accept and regulate our emotions. Now that I've put it on the table, can you think of anyone who rarely recognizes that something bothers them?
Or who finds it difficult to manage her negative emotions, so much so that most people who know her know she has a problem with anxiety or sadness. You may now be seeing yourself reflected in these traits. The reality is that recognizing, accepting and regulating our emotions are abilities that have a significant influence on various psychological disorders, including eating disorders... Find out why!
"The first wealth is health."
How is emotional regulation in eating disorders?
First of all, it should be noted that emotional regulation in eating disorders is different from that of people who do not suffer from psychological pathologies, according to several scientific studies. On the one hand, it has been found that they present greater alexithymia. That is, they have more difficulty in identifying and describing feelings. Logically, when you do not know how to recognize the emotions you feel, you will have more problems in choosing the best strategy to regulate them.
Let me explain: if we do not realize that we are angry, how are we going to do anything to diminish that anger? Complicated, isn't it? Well, this is one of the problems of emotional regulation in eating disorders. But to this we must add another handicap: the use of inadequate strategies to reduce discomfort. That is, when they are aware that they feel bad, they do not "manage" themselves in this state adaptively.
"The intelligent man should consider health to be the greatest of human blessings. Let food be thy medicine."
Instead, they try to manage these emotions through escape, avoidance or denial. What these behaviors actually cause is a rebound effect, resulting in a chronification of their negative emotions. Let's look at an example: when a person with this problem feels bad because he thinks that if he eats he will get fat, he tries to manage that anxiety by restricting his food. In the short term, this will reduce this discomfort.
However, in the long run, smaller amounts of food will generate more and more negative emotions, so that at the slightest amount of food, the discomfort will become progressively greater. This vicious circle is also observed with binge eating: the person eats because he feels bad, but then tortures himself for overeating, so he tries to purge himself, which leads him again to experience negative emotions because I know that what I do is wrong.
Why is it important to improve emotional regulation in eating disorders? After what has been explained so far, it is clear the role that emotional regulation plays in eating disorders and the need to improve it. On the one hand, it is important to change food restriction or binge eating (and consequent purging) for other coping and emotional management strategies that are more adaptive (better for the person who uses them).
But it is not only necessary to work on this in order to improve the pathological behaviors that are carried out when one suffers from this disease. The reality is that being able to accept, identify and express our emotions benefits us globally, producing a sense of physical and mental well-being.
In addition, being able to regulate our negative emotions appropriately, through adaptive coping strategies, will decrease the levels of anxiety, sadness and anger we feel. In fact, it has been found that working on emotional regulation in eating disorders significantly improves their prognosis.
"Eating is not just a material pleasure. Eating well brings spectacular joy to life and contributes greatly to goodwill, morale and happiness."

Tips on how to disengage fr om our cell phones
where to buy modafinil us
п»їSmartphones are increasingly complete devices, allowing us to enjoy our leisure time, social relationships and even facilitating our work. Due to their multiple uses and their small size, they have become an object that accompanies us wherever we go and in which we invest a large number of hours every day. However, to fully enjoy life we must manage to unhook ourselves fr om our cell phone.
We must not forget that our real life is three-dimensional, that nothing can replace human contact and that technology should be a complement but not the center of our world. More than 50% of cell phone users are already affected by "nomophobia", the inability to separate themselves from their smartphones.
We have become so accustomed to being hyperconnected, always available or surfing the net that many people feel real anxiety when they are away from their cell phones. Staying a period of time without them can create great anxiety and discomfort, making them feel that something is missing. Therefore, if you identify with these behaviors, it would be advisable to take certain measures.
Respect our limitsHaving a cell phone makes you available 24 hours a day for anyone who wants to contact you. This, no doubt, would be useful in emergency situations; but we have reached a point wh ere we receive intrusions at any time for unimportant matters. And we are no longer talking about conversations with friends, but about work communications.
It is important to understand that we all need time and space to rest, to devote to leisure, to our families or to ourselves. Therefore, it is not healthy to be always alert to work requirements.
In this regard, it would be beneficial to establish "office hours" in which others know that they can contact us. And when these hours are over, get away from the phone and enjoy the other areas of our life. Start with you setting and respecting these boundaries and others will adapt to do so as well. After all, most communications can wait.
Cell phones bring us closer to those who are far away, and this is a wonderful thing. But, unfortunately, they also take us away from those who are close by quite often. In any bar or restaurant, it is enough to look around to see how people are immersed in their screens, sitting next to each other but not paying attention to each other.
We have lost the ability to fully enjoy the presence of our loved ones. And much of this is due to the omnipresence of technology in our lives. So, make a decision to keep your phone put away whenever you are going to share some time with your friends or family. And, if you can't resist the temptation, try to leave your phone at home. We are missing out on precious moments.
Use them consciouslyIn short, it is not a question of eliminating the Internet or cell phones from our lives, because the facilities they provide are undeniable. We have access to information, culture, entertainment and social relationships. But we must be able to act in moderation.
First of all, restrict the hours you spend in front of your phone. You can set a schedule to get news, check social networks or watch a video; but try to keep it to a limited time and make sure you stick to it. Hours go by without us realizing it and the cell phone takes away our productivity and occupies a large part of our time. Be aware and lim it its use.
Similarly, establish control over the content you consume. The problem with cell phones lies not only in their excessive use but also in their inappropriate use. When we have no control we can become overloaded with data and information that only add stress and uncertainty to our lives.
In addition, we are overexposed to negative and harmful content that can affect our mood. Being aware of all the tragedies that occur in the world and the fake happiness that is shown in some networks are two of the biggest toxins of this century.
So remember that it is in your hand to make proper use of new technologies. Unhooking ourselves from our cell phone will open the door back to our real life.

5 women who made history
ingredients in modafinil
п»ї"Because the ideal of the white woman, seductive but not a prostitute, well married but not in the shade, working but not too successfully so as not to crush her man, slim but not obsessed with food, looking indefinitely young but not disfigured by cosmetic surgery, (...) this happy white woman they put in front of our eyes, the one we should make the effort to resemble, apart from the fact that she seems to break her chrism for little, I have never met her anywhere. It is possible, even, that she does not exist."
In feminine psychology, the sense of balance is always very present. We always try to "balance" our actions so that they are the most appropriate for others and ourselves.
But in today's society, this ideal of "in the right measure" to which the controversial writer Virginia Despentes refers, seems more and more like an imposition than an innocent recommendation.
Women, in their role as mothers, friends or romantic partners, try to keep balance and reason at all times, so much so that sometimes it can become pathological because it crushes instincts or skills that need to "explode" in them to achieve their fulfillment.
As it is said in the phrase "The measure of love is to love without measure", the psychology and behavior of women should not be so constrained to be healthy. Errors, mistakes, desires and desires must be accepted.... even if they are not adequate to what society imposes.
Some women have overcome "what will be said" and have dared to be themselves, whether at work or in their love relationships, and not only have they not displeased the general public, but they have left their unmistakable mark on the history of our world.
As Oscar Wilde used to say "Be yourself, the other positions are taken".
Let us then look at some examples of women who have decided to occupy theirs:
Simone de Beauvoir
This French philosopher of astonishing intellectual capacity, author of the most translated book in the world, "The Second Sex", is the most representative icon of the new feminism that took place in the middle of the 20th century.
She pushed for women's social and civil rights, defied her wealthy and conservative family environment and soon became economically independent in the bohemian and artistic Paris of the time. She lived as a couple although she never married, she had an intellectual and loving relationship with Sartre throughout her life, she lived and traveled as she pleased but always without leaving her strong intellectual activity aside, which has become one of the most significant in history.
This painter, known worldwide for her heartbreaking autobiographical paintings, was not what was expected for a girl of her condition and age.
Frida soon began to dress in masculine or very comfortable clothes, although always with her inevitable enigmatic air, she was interested in politics and literature from an early age, and after a terrible bus accident that fractured her spine in three parts, her life changed radically.
Although she was severely psychically and physically damaged for life, she did not resign herself to abandon the art that overflowed her mind and began to paint self-portraits while bedridden.
She had a passionate and very unstable relationship with the painter Diego Rivera, although her idylls with intellectuals (men and women) of the time were well known.
She was unable to become a mother; all her pregnancies ended in miscarriages because her reproductive system was severely damaged after the accident. Her life and her work, full of suffering and rage, today fill museums and murals all over the world.
"I'm poor, black. I may be ugly. But, by God, I'm here - I'm here!"
This unforgettable phrase from the movie The Color Purple , could well be a reflection of the story of today's super-powerful Oprah Winfrey, undisputed leader of American television who beats any kind of audience in her appearances.
With a harrowing childhood, in which she was the victim of repeated abuse and abominable violence, this woman is the perfect example that every human being can rise from the ashes and build the story she wants for herself.
"Seeks acting job. Mother of three children -10, 11 and 15 years old- ... Thirty years of experience in the movies. Still able to move and more affable than rumors say. Wants steady job in Hollywood (she was already on Broadway). Bette Davis. c/o Martin Baum G. A. G. References on demand."
This ad would be unremarkable were it not for the fact that it was placed in a newspaper by what many today consider the greatest performer of all time, Bette Davis.
In a world plagued by facades and false fortunes, she never shied away from publicly shedding false appearances and striving to achieve her goal: to work in the world of cinema until the end of her life.
Criticized ad nauseam, betrayed by her daughter and with a love story full of rumors and scandals, she always remained true to herself and to her love for cinema. A cinema that remains in our minds forever hidden by her enigmatic and unforgettable eyes.
What good woman in the 19th century could aspire to anything more than a good reputation, a good marriage and a good upbringing for her children?
Well, none other than her, who not only fulfilled with merit this destiny that was already assigned to her, but also added to her destiny two Nobel Prizes in Physics and Chemistry, besides being the first professor at the University of Paris.
She ceased to be perfect, to be herself in her totality and to become a legend.
Brave women like them surround us, they will not have a name in history, perhaps, but they will contribute to it by leaving their character, their passions and their ambitions above what people expected them to be: "perfect women".

п»їThe extraordinary testimony of Primo Levi
Primo Levi was an Italian chemist, of Jewish origin, who is not known for his contributions in the scientific field but for his testimonies collected in several books. In them, he recounts all the barbarism to which he was subjected in the Nazi concentration camps, like millions of other people, in the middle of the last century, during the Second World War.
In 1944, Levi had been confined in an Italian concentration camp for being part of the resistance to the Nazis. He had declared himself an Italian citizen of Jewish origin, which freed him fr om immediate execution, but condemned him to a German concentration camp. After a four-day journey in a cattle car, along with 49 other people and their luggage, Levi arrived at Auschwitz.
"We who survived the concentration camps are not true witnesses. We are the ones who, through prevarication, skill or luck, never hit bottom. Those who were there and saw the face of the Gorgon, did not return, or returned without words."
At the departure station, the SS hurriedly stripped all travelers descending from the wagons of their belongings. Then, they formed two groups: one of young and healthy people and another composed of old, sick, pregnant women and babies. The latter group was killed, in a time that did not exceed 30 minutes. Meanwhile, the others were transported to the concentration camp.
Primo Levi's Destination: Auschwitz IV Upon arrival at their destination, Auschwitz IV, the prisoners were stripped, shaved and tattooed with a number that identified them. Then they were given a striped uniform, with the Jewish badge sewn on the left shoulder and on the pants. They were two triangles opposite and superimposed on each other, in red and yellow, forming the emblematic Star of David.
The crematorium was designed to transform a thousand corpses into ashes in one hour. These residues were used to fertilize the nearby cultivated fields. The prisoners were taken 6 kilometers, and at a brisk pace, to the coal-derivative factories. On the way back and forth, they were lined up in the rain for hours for the count.
They were dressed in ragged clothes, slept two to a bunk, in three-tier cabins. Per barrack there were 250 Jews, who were permanently devoured by thousands of bedbugs and fleas. They were infested with measles, diphtheria, scarlet fever, typhoid and erysipelas. Diarrhea, however, was the most intolerable, for it brought even the hardiest of men to their knees.
Auschwitz IV held an average of 15,000 enslaved Jews, working days that ranged from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Levi was in Block 30, built of tarred wood, along with 59 other convicts, with identical characteristics and lined up with millimeter precision.
The work was grueling, designed to be done by beasts of burden. They wanted to keep them busy at all times and thus avoid insurrection.
Most of Primo Levi's comrades died during the first week in the gas chambers, from exhaustion or from repeated beatings. Violence seemed to be the only vehicle of communication. There were groups of delinquent Jews who worked for the SS and had the function of establishing order. These were the most hated by the rest of the Jewish population.
With the Allied Normandy landings, life in Auschwitz IV was further disrupted. A higher level of SS violence was unleashed. Still, more Jews continued to arrive. The crematoria ovens were operating at full capacity, to the point that the bricks of which they were built were cracking. Meanwhile, the Allies' constant bombardment of Auschwitz opened the way for the Red Army.
The liberationIn December 1944 the Soviet advance was about to reach its goal. The Nazis began to dismantle Auschwitz, for they could leave no trace of the barbarism. In January they evacuated the prisoners, in the so-called Death Marches. The SS murdered anyone who delayed the walk, so few survived. Levi contracted scarlet fever, for which he was abandoned.
The Nazis fled, abandoning the survivors, fewer than 900, to their fate. The first to die were the Jews who worked for the SS. There was no fire, no food. In the search for food, Levi found a ward with British prisoners, wh ere there was food.
There were corpses everywhere, while most of the survivors were in bunk beds, paralyzed by cold and hunger.
When the Soviets arrived, they were petrified, staring in disgust and horror at the sight of Auschwitz. The Russians treated them kindly and then fed them. Several of Levi's comrades died because their weakened bodies were unable to digest the food.
The depersonalization to which the Jews had been subjected was felt in absolute silence. The Soviets marched with the survivors, touring several European countries. Several months after liberation, without explanation, the Russians allowed them to go home. Levi ended up committing suicide on April 11, 1987, but before that he left a heartbreaking testimony of everything that happened, in his famous work "If this is a man".

Face fotografii frumoase in stil portret!
A sosit rapid in stare perfecta. Un chilipir solid in general.
Pana acum functioneaza bine.

How to manage time to be more efficient at work.

п»їHow to manage time to be more efficient at work.
Ironically, time management is a problem we all face, but don't have time to address. However, spending a little time analyzing how we "spend" our time and thinking about how to be more efficient is something worth doing. Managing time to be more efficient at work is possible, but it is a problem we must face.
After all, time is passing. And the more time passes without addressing the problem, the more time we waste, the more energy we waste and the more opportunities we miss. That is why it is essential to analyze the way we manage time in order to implement the necessary changes.
21 tips to manage time and be more efficientTime management is a complex topic that ranges fr om increasing productivity to balancing work and family life, avoiding burnout, creating good habits or setting long-term goals, among other issues. Planning and prioritizing are the basis for taking control of our time and life, regardless of our occupation. Author Jory MacKay proposes 21 strategies for effective time management.
Understand where your time goesTime management is not about stifling the fear of wasting time. It's about understanding the far-reaching benefits of using our time wisely, MacKay explains. Hence the first tips and strategies:
1. Understand why time management is important. Time management is not about stifling the fear of wasting time. It's about understanding the far-reaching benefits of using our time wisely.
Be realistic about how much work you can actually get done in a day. We may think of time as a resource that we simply need more of, but more time does not mean more productive time. The simplest form of time management is to schedule when and what you will work on.
3. Figure out where you're wasting time. The more you understand how you spend your day, the more impactful your time management efforts will be.
4. Set daily goals and alerts for how you are spending your time. Once you have an overview of how you are spending your time, you can begin to make daily changes.
5. Create a morning routine that motivates you. A good morning routine can set you up for a productive and meaningful work day by giving you the opportunity to start with a positive momentum that you will build on for the rest of the day.
6. Give up multitasking. Studies have shown that it is impossible for humans to concentrate on more than one task at a time. When you find yourself losing focus, stop and write down what you're thinking before returning to the task at hand.
Prioritize meaningful work and delegate the restOnce we know wh ere our time is going we have to decide what we should (and shouldn't) spend our time on, MacKay explains. To do this:
7. Separate the urgent from the important work. Distinguishing what is urgent from what is not, and what is important or not, helps you prioritize your time and draw a schedule that allows you to do more of the important work and less of the unimportant.
8. Prioritize mercilessly. Choose the main objectives and focus on them.
9. Use the 30X rule to delegate more tasks. Mackay proposes following the rule proposed by Rory Vaden, which proposes that we should give ourselves 30 times the time it takes us to complete a task to train someone else to do it. Taking the time to delegate and train someone else gives you a net gain of 1100 minutes per year. Or, as Vaden puts it a 733% increase in ROTI (return on time invested).
10. Get "no" back in your vocabulary. According to an article conducted by the University of Chicago and published in the Journal of Consumer Research, saying "I don't do" something, rather than "I can't," allowed participants to detach from unwanted commitments much more easily.
Establish an efficient daily scheduleOnce you have done the above, it is time to design a schedule for effective time management.
11. Set schedules, not deadlines. Mackay draws on James Clear's advice here. Instead of giving yourself a deadline to achieve a particular goal (and then feeling like a failure if you don't achieve it), pick a goal that's important and then set a timeline to work toward it.
12. Schedule with time, not tasks. Take large tasks and break them into timed sessions. By organizing the day by scheduling time instead of tasks, we move from managing our schedule around an unknown date (task) to a known time.
"A calendar is finite; there are only a certain number of hours in a day. That fact becomes clear the instant we try to cram an unreal number of things into a finite space."
13. Schedule time for breaks and breaks. We need time to rest and assume there will be interruptions. Not counting on it is chaotic. Interruptions come or our bodies tell us we have to take a break. If we haven't counted on it, when this happens, suddenly our perfectly formulated program falls apart.
14. Separate Maker time from Manager time. It is very easy to fill it with administrative tasks and not leave enough time for meaningful work. It is one thing to do and another to manage.
15. Batch activities throughout the week. Batch similar activities and take advantage of the momentum you get when you start. Apply Newton's First Law of Motion to productivity: "An object in motion, stays in motion."
Use location to your advantage to manage timeYour calendar or schedule aren't the only time management tools you have. Mackay proposes a few ways you can use in the workplace that can influence how you work.
16. Try the Popcorn at Work method to unblock your time. Changing your work location throughout the day can be a great way to maintain motivation and productivity. This technique from Joel Runyon works like this:
Write down all the tasks you need to do today.
Divide that list into 3 equal sections or three groups (batches, seen in tip 15).
Choose 3 different locations for each batch of work.
17. Work with your body's natural energy cycle. Work by doing what works best for you, so that you not only think about managing your time, but also your energy.
Protect your timeThere will never be a lack of things to do that will try to take up your time. That's why you have to protect it, to avoid using it in the wrong way. Mackay proposes these tips to achieve this:
18. Use strategic laziness to work on the right things. The concept of "strategic laziness" refers to prioritizing work and tasks that are important and allowing yourself to be lazy on those that don't matter.
"Nothing is less productive than doing more efficiently what should not be done at all."
19. Automate non-negotiable focused time throughout the day. It is important to ensure that your focused work sessions run smoothly. To do this, it is important to protect yourself from distractions. There are tools that help you communicate to others that you are automatically unavailable. If not, you can look for ways to let others know that you are at a work time when you cannot be disturbed.
20. Use the Ivy Lee Method to end the day properly. Ivy Lee came up with this simple five-step daily routine for maximum productivity:
At the end of each work day, write down the six most important things you need to accomplish tomorrow. Write no more than six tasks.
Prioritize those six items in order of importance.
The next day, focus only on the first task. Work until you finish the first task before moving on to the second task.
Approach the rest of your list in the same way. At the end of the day, move the unfinished items to a new list of six tasks for the next day.
Repeat this process every working day.
21. Don't forget the benefits of time off. Time management is not just about work. To find a work-life balance that keeps us healthy and happy, we must be sure to leave time for rest, relaxation and socializing.
Managing time and being more productive is a challenge within everyone's reach. However, we must be aware that we must stop and think about what we do, how we do it and what we really want to achieve. Doing does not necessarily mean working, much less finishing.
Take the time you need to analyze your routines and rethink your tasks. With these time management tips it will be much easier for you to face your work or your studies and achieve better results.

п»їPsychological exhaustion, when the straw that breaks the camel's back
Psychological exhaustion weakens us physically and mentally. It is a dimension that arises as a result of "too many": too many decisions, too many intrusive thoughts, too much work, obligations, interruptions, anxieties... In turn, it is also the reflection of many "too few": little quality time for oneself, few hours of sleep, little inner calm...
We have all experienced this feeling at some time, this wear and tear at all levels. It is important to keep in mind that a fatigued brain, psychologically exhausted, works and responds to stimuli in a different way. Thus, and as a curious fact, the neuroscientist Matthew Walker was able to demonstrate at laboratory level that mentally tired people have a more negative perception of their reality and are also much more sensitive emotionally.
Sometimes you just get tired, you get exhausted and limp in that lonely corner of discouragement where everything loses its raison d'ГЄtre, its brightness, its spontaneity?
On the other hand, one aspect that sometimes leads us to make mistakes is to think that this psychological exhaustion is due, in essence, to a fateful accumulation of mistakes, bad decisions, failures or disappointments. This is not true. Most of the time, fatigue is the direct result of an inordinate volume of tasks and activities that we take on without realizing that we are overwhelmed.
We have all heard that the perception of our reality sometimes depends on how we see the glass, whether it is half full or half empty. However, and in relation to the present topic, we could formulate the question in another way: and you... how much water could you stand if you had that cup in your hand? Sometimes, just one more drop is enough to fill the glass and reach the limit of our strength.
Psychological exhaustion, an all too common problemCarlos feels satisfied with his life, in fact, he couldn't ask for more. He is a graphic designer, he likes his job, he has a partner he adores and he has just become a father. Everything around him is satisfactory, there are no major problems in his life; however, every day he notices that he finds it harder to make decisions, his mood is more taciturn, he can't concentrate and he even has trouble falling asleep.
She feels unable to understand what is happening to her. Everything is going well, in fact he should feel happier than ever; however, in his mind there is a kind of sensor that tells him that "something is wrong, that something is wrong". If we had an outside observer in this story, he could explain several things that would help our protagonist.
One of them is that Carlos has the feeling that too many things are happening at the same time in his life: a promotion, new professional projects and clients to satisfy, a son, a mortgage, the consolidation of a personal stage where he wants (he demands) everything to be "perfect"... All this gives shape to a constellation where "many few" make a "too much" in his head, endangering his ability to control. Their mental exhaustion is evident, as well as exhausting. Let's see below how mental fatigue impacts us.
Signs and consequences of psychological exhaustion
Physical fatigue and loss of energy. The feeling of exhaustion sometimes reaches such a level that it is common to wake up in the morning with the firm conviction that we are not going to be able to make it through the day.
Insomnia. At first it is common to suffer sudden awakenings at night, but later on we may experience serious difficulties in falling asleep.
Memory loss. According to an article published in "The Journal of Forensic Psychiatry & Psychology", psychological exhaustion usually produces a cognitive alteration called "disinformation effect". This is where we confuse data, where we evoke the information incorrectly, mixing images, people, situations...
Among the physical symptoms it is common to experience palpitations, digestive problems, headaches, loss of hunger or an excessive increase in appetite?
On an emotional level, it is very characteristic to feel more sensitive, as well as apathetic, irritable and pessimistic.
Likewise, another common characteristic is anhedonia; that is, the inability to feel pleasure, to enjoy things as much as before, we are no longer excited, life becomes grayer and the world is suspended in a distant horizon where we only hear its rumor fr om a distance...
"Sleep is a good mattress for tiredness."
How to cope with psychological exhaustionEric Hoffer used to say that the worst fatigue comes fr om work not done. It is a great truth. Sometimes the real exhaustion is shaped by all those things we want to do and don't do. For all those daily goals that we set ourselves and that exceed us, those that we do not reach, those that are frustrated because our level of demand is too high or the pressures of the environment, excessive.
In the end it happens, the straw that breaks the camel's back and the glass is already too heavy. It is then that everything gets out of hand. So, what we should do in these cases and before anything else, is to become aware of what is happening to us. The psychological exhaustion is there and we must prevent the "creature" fr om becoming bigger, darker and more oppressive. Let us therefore reflect on the following dimensions, on those steps that we should put into practice next.
3 permissions you must give yourself in order to clear away the clouds of mental fatigue
Give yourself permission to find yourself again. It may seem ironic, but psychological exhaustion tends to imprison us in the layers of worries, self-demands, pressures, duties and anxieties to the point of forgetting ourselves. Give yourself permission to find yourself again and for this, nothing better than enjoying an hour a day wh ere you can reduce to the maximum all stimuli (no sounds, no artificial lights...). Let's find a quiet environment wh ere we can lim it ourselves to "being and being".
Give yourself permission to prioritize. This is undoubtedly an essential point. Remember what is a priority for you, what identifies you, what you love, what makes you happy. The rest will be secondary and will not be worth such an emotional and personal investment on your part.
Give yourself permission to be less demanding. The day has 24 hours and life, whether we want it or not, has a limited quota. Let's learn to be realistic, to make the most of our time without putting pressure on ourselves, setting high standards or wanting everything to be perfect. Sometimes, it is enough that everything is the same as yesterday, with its humble and calm balance.
To conclude, we know that our reality is more and more demanding, that sometimes we want to reach everyone and everything; however, it is not superfluous to remember one idea. We are made of skin, flesh, heart and psychological sinews that must also be nourished by quality time, rest, calm and leisure. Let's learn to prioritize ourselves, to take care of ourselves as we deserve....

п»їDo you know what a transpersonal experience is?
When we speak of transpersonal experience and transpersonal psychology, we refer to a school of thought that is outside the scientifically accepted. Transpersonal psychology, by its very nature, has not yet been evaluated according to the scientific method that governs the foundations of psychology.
The term transpersonal refers to the transcendence of normal or ordinary limits in one's experience. These types of episodes are known as mystical, spiritual, occult, magical or paranormal experiences. That is, it refers to experiences that go beyond our everyday reality.
Especially Western culture does not accept these types of experiences as real. Moreover, being completely subjective experiences, which the individual lives from the skin inward, it is not possible to study them under the architecture of the current scientific methodology.
It is important to clarify this and to recognize that the subject we are dealing with today is outside the scientific field. On the other hand, the motivation of this article is simply to make a curious approach to the so-called fourth force, which arose from the most extreme position of humanistic psychology.
What is "normal"? Any approach to this school of thought begins with a discussion of what is meant by "normal". One criterion for defining normality would be that which encompasses what is considered majority, common or admissible from a social perspective. In other words, anything outside this epicenter would be considered "abnormal".
The argument of transpersonal psychologists in the face of this fact is to identify that many of the "anomalies" actually represent the first steps and efforts of some people to overcome mediocrity.
In this sense, "normal" would be more of a social construct than a reality. The discussion also goes through the negative or positive connotations that may be given to this departure, or attempts at departure, from what is socially considered normal.
Within normality or not, the truth is that there are many people who have this type of transpersonal experiences. The therapeutic approach to the problems that may derive from this type of experience or process, like those arising from any major change in people's lives, also varies considerably between scientific and non-scientific psychology.
Transpersonal experiences can occur in people who are actively involved in giving a more transcendental meaning to their lives. However, they can also occur in people who are not interested in these matters. The truth is that these types of states of consciousness, different from the ordinary, can develop with different levels of intensity.
A transpersonal experience would describe a gradual development of the person's spiritual potential without disrupting his or her psychological, social and occupational functioning. In many cases, the experience intensifies and begins to be beyond the individual's control.
This is what is known in transpersonal psychology as "spiritual emergence." Renowned psychiatrist Stan Grof, along with his wife, Christina Grof, dedicated their lives to the care of people in "spiritual emergency".
The transpersonal experience: beyond the five sensesThere are numerous experiences that can be qualified as transpersonal. The list is enormous, but the most common are near-death experiences, energetic phenomena, universal archetypal experiences, overwhelming synchronicities, intuitive understanding of universal symbols, etc.
Experiences of memories of other lives, identification with the consciousness of other human beings or animals, or development of planetary consciousness can also be considered transpersonal experiences.
For Eastern traditions, these types of experiences are not a sign of mental illness. On the contrary, they are considered mystical experiences outside of ordinary consciousness and are the passage to other types of consciousness. In other words, what for our westernized society is a problem, for the other great part of the world is a sign of evolution. Undoubtedly, in this question of the concept of normality we were talking about at the beginning, it has a lot to say.
Unifying criteriaTranspersonal psychology aims to combine the methodology of conventional psychology with the approaches and disciplines of consciousness from other types of Eastern traditions. This school also offers another way of understanding psychopathology.
For transpersonal psychologists the concept of healing includes the modification of consciousness and spiritual awakening. It considers that the human being is much more than his ordinary experiences and that, well attended, the transpersonal experiences can generate important psychological improvements. The debate is served.

Jay Haley and strategic therapy

п»їJay Haley and strategic therapy
Jay Haley's strategic therapy is characterized by the therapist possessing great initiative and having to identify a number of key issues. Fr om identifying solvable problems, to designing interventions, setting goals, providing feedback and evaluating.
Jay Haley aimed to go beyond what the moment might dictate and not to focus on symptoms, mental states or moods. What he was really proposing was to work in social situations and not to focus on individual work.
The postulates of Jay Haley's strategic therapyJay Haley intended to offer the vision that the problem of the client who comes to consultation does not only reside in him, since human beings are social and therefore our whole environment is involved.
Therefore, the client is not the unit of intervention, but also the nuclear family, other family members, and/or the peer group. Within his proposal he also includes the professionals who are in contact with the problem in one way or another.
Within the family, Haley analyzed the hierarchies that are established, as well as the rules and the statuses or roles of power within the family. There are roles and rules that are more primary than others and analyzing them helps to better understand the client's life.
Sometimes the complaint, inappropriate behavior or reason for consultation is caused by confusions or imbalances in the hierarchy that disturb the adaptation to the family life cycle. If for example in a family the daughter is the one who is in charge of trying to mediate her parents' conflicts, there will be a great imbalance that does not fit in the adaptive role that corresponds to her as a daughter.
The history of the strategic-communication modelAnthropologist Gregory Bateson was the first great systemic theorist, and his study objective was human relationships. To this end, he applied some theoretical paradigms, such as General Systems Theory (GST) and Cybernetics.
Following Bateson's work, the Mental Research Institute (MRI) was created in Palo Alto (California). Important theorists within the systemic approach passed through it: John Weakland, Don D. Jackson, Virginia Satir, Jay Haley or Paul Watzlawick.
The initial work of authors such as John Weakland and Jay Haley was strongly influenced by the ideas of Erickson, a very successful American psychiatrist of the mid-twentieth century. The history of family therapy was originally known as Strategic Therapy to the model developed by Haley, but because the postulates of the Mental Research Institute (MRI) and those of the model developed by Haley were very similar, the two are often presented together.
Jay Haley's view of the personSystemists such as Jay Haley understand people's behavior within their interactional context as being more relevant-with greater explanatory power-than any other personality variable. General systems theory and human communication theory are the starting models for understanding and analyzing the functioning of human groups and how interaction is primarily communicational.
On the one hand, a system is made up of a series of elements and rules that determine its relationships. On the other hand, these relationships can be observed in a circular fashion, the phenomenon of interactional patterning, wh ere A produces B and B maintains A.
The complementarity between MRI and Jay Haley's strategic therapyWhat differentiates systemic models from other modeling done from other theoretical frameworks is that they understand maladaptive behaviors as the product of an interaction and not only as a result of personality variables.
At the Mental Research Institute (MRI), they understand that problems arise because people automate maladaptive interactional sequences that are repeated. Strategic therapy observes that problems arise when there is a particular distribution of power within the family system.
Another difference between strategic therapy and IRM is that the latter understands that the attempted solutions that do not work are those that maintain the problem. Therefore, problems are partly the result of failed attempts at resolution.
However, Jay Haley from his strategic therapy understands that symptoms serve a function, even if it is not an adaptive one. That is why symptoms can be understood as a dysfunctional way of communicating something.
In short, it is a matter of considering that we live in a social context and therefore we influence and are influenced by it. To focus a psychological therapy excluding its social environment is like trying to study an animal without knowing its environment.
